I bought holiday insurance for 1 years cover. I stupidly deleted the email with the policy documents by mistake. It wasn't until I was about to go on holiday I discovered that I realised what I had done. I didn't have any documents or policy number to have at hand should I need it, the only proof I had was the cost of the policy on my back statement. I emailed the company explaining my mistake and the next day a new policy was emailed to me. Thank you so much for a satisfactory response so quickly.

The customer service agent was really helpful - Beth was her name. Shopped around and taking out this policy - partly based on how helpful, informative and polite Beth was. Thankyou, what a refreshing change!

I’ve Noticed 5 star reviews are about reasonable prices and how easy it is to apply on line. Wait until you put a claim in. My husband’s claim wasn’t for a large amount under £350 plus £95 excess we phoned 4 medical insurance up on our return the representative kindly did our claim over the phone asking lots of questions then the representative asked if his partner went on holiday with him,which I did the representative then said he has to pay my excess of £95 as well as my husband’s. My husband said my wife is not making a claim,the representative put my husband on hold then came back and apologized saying he doesn’t have to pay his wife’s excess.Before returning home from holiday my husband had to get a fit to fly note required by the airline then the representative said the fit to fly note wasn’t covered in your policy on page 24. I looked on page 24 and told him the only thing on page 24 is about skiing equipment the phone went silent ( he’d put the phone down)My husband phoned back and spoke to a representative called ( Nathan)my husband explained about the hospital explained everything to him also explained that the hospital have given a month to pay. Nathan reassured us that he would sort it out and the hospital will get paid directly when our claim is authorized. My husband phoned back over a week later,the claim as been authorized but 4 medical are not paying the hospital directly and will be transferring money into our bank account, so now we have to mess about paying the hospital everything is written in Spanish the hospital bill should have been paid on 20/7/23. I found 4 medical insurance representatives very unprofessional. I will never use 4 medical insurance AGAIN!!! Dear Mrs Rothwell. Just replying to your response (Below) Collinson are the underwriters of your company, and for clarity on my policy page 24 is skiing equipment, page 8,10 and 11 Relates to Prescription Medication Cutting short a trip Missed departures. And I don’t feel sense of relief to have to pay the hospital myself directly that should be down to the insurance company Mrs J jennett

They outsource to the worst collections team in the world, I had receipts and evidence of work done but they wanted even more paperwork...the collections team are made up of people who make it impossible to claim. I spent hours on the phone and had them put me on hold and hang up so many times. I'm determined to get what i'm due, only £80 worth of claims in total and my insurance was £200 but its the principle...

I had a very negative experience making a claim for stolen items whilst travelling. The company they use - Coillinson - first wrongfully rejected my claim and I then had to (successfully) dispute it. It took months to resolve with little customer service or contact.

I'm always wary of insurance agents as I never really know how well they perform if, and when, you need to make a claim. The ease of acquiring a quotation and the value it provided was brilliant. I did have a query and emailed them on Sunday evening. Received a positive response by 9am Monday morning - how good is that? Hopefully, never need to make a claim but feel comfortable that it would be dealt with sympathetically and professionally.
